Duties Prepare surfaces by cleaning, sanding, plastering, and applying primers to ensure optimal paint adhesion. Apply paints, stains, varnishes, and other finishes using hand tools such as brushes, rollers, and spray equipment including airless paint sprayers. Read and interpret blueprints and schematics to accurately follow project specifications and color schemes based on color theory principles. Perform construction painting tasks across residential, commercial, and renovation sites with precision and efficiency. Utilize power tools and hand tools for surface preparation, fixture installation, caulking, trim carpentry, stucco application, masonry work, and other related tasks. Conduct restoration work by matching existing finishes and performing touch-ups to ensure seamless results. Qualifications Proven experience in residential painting, commercial painting, or construction painting with a strong understanding of construction site protocols. Skilled in the use of hand tools, power tools, airless paint spraying equipment, and other relevant tools of the trade. Familiarity with color theory to achieve desired aesthetic effects and precise color matching.
