Job Description
MBR Renovations is looking for an experienced, dependable painter with basic carpentry skills to join our growing remodeling team. We work on high-quality residential renovation projects throughout South Jersey and surrounding areas, including kitchens, bathrooms, basements, additions, and full-home renovations. We are looking for someone who takes pride in their work, pays attention to detail, and can handle painting projects from preparation through final touch-ups, while also helping with light finish-carpentry work when needed.
Responsibilities include:
- Interior residential painting
- Walls, ceilings, doors, trim, and baseboards
- Proper surface preparation
- Patching nail holes, cracks, and minor drywall imperfections
- Sanding, caulking, and priming
- Cutting clean lines and producing professional finishes
- Rolling and brushing
- Protecting floors, cabinets, furniture, and finished surfaces
- Touch-ups and punch-list work
- Installing or repairing baseboard, shoe molding, and basic trim
- Minor door and casing adjustments
- Small wood repairs and miscellaneous finish-carpentry items
- Maintaining a clean and organized jobsite
- Working alongside our remodeling crews and project managers
What We're Looking For:
- Previous professional painting experience
- Basic finish-carpentry skills
- Ability to use common hand and power tools
- Strong attention to detail
- Ability to work independently when needed
- Reliable transportation
- Dependable and punctual
- Comfortable working in occupied and high-end homes
- Basic drywall/spackle repair experience is a plus
- Must take pride in delivering clean, professional work We are looking for someone who wants steady work and the opportunity to grow with our company, not someone looking for occasional side work.

Monday-Friday with occasional additional hours available

Pay:
Based on experience and skill level. If you are an experienced painter with some carpentry ability and want to work with a professional remodeling company, we'd like to hear from you. Please apply with your work experience and a brief description of your painting and carpentry background.
Pay:
$22.50 - $30.50 per hour Expected hours: 40.0 - 50.0 per week
