That 1 Painter of North Jersy has an outstanding opportunity for an experienced Professional Painter. The painter will report to the Project Supervisor. Position Overview This is not a typical painter position. We are hiring a Lead Painter / Carpentry Specialist who can: Perform high-level painting work Handle light carpentry and repairs Step into problem jobs and fix issues independently You will be the person we rely on to make jobs right, support crews, and protect our reputation . Core Responsibilities Perform high-quality residential and commercial painting, including prep, priming, and finishing Step into active jobs to correct issues, improve quality, and ensure projects meet company standards Diagnose and resolve on-site problems quickly and independently without constant supervision Complete light carpentry work including trim replacement, wood repairs, fascia, door frames, and minor siding repairs Patch and repair drywall, including blending and matching existing textures Address and fix common paint failures such as peeling, bubbling, cracking, or improper prep Serve as a "go-to" technician for problem jobs, punch-out work, and final touch-ups Communicate professionally with homeowners to resolve concerns and ensure satisfaction Support and assist painting crews when jobs are behind schedule or need additional expertise Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment on all job sites Ensure all work meets company quality standards and contributes to 5-star customer experiences Requirements 5+ years of professional painting experience (residential preferred) Proven carpentry experience (trim, wood repair, light structural work) Ability to work independently and solve problems without supervision Strong attention to detail and pride in workmanship Professional communication skills with customers and team members Valid driver's license and reliable transportation Ability to handle physically demanding work (lifting, climbing ladders, etc.) Hourly Work 40 hours per week: $28-$35 per hour, depending on experience.
