Job Description

Job Summary We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Painter to join our dynamic construction and renovation team. In this role, you will be responsible for applying paint, coatings, and finishes to various surfaces across residential and commercial properties . Your expertise will help transform spaces, enhance aesthetics, and protect structures. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work on diverse projects that require precision, craftsmanship, and a proactive approach to safety and quality. Duties Prepare surfaces by cleaning, sanding, scraping, and applying primer to ensure optimal paint adhesion. Apply paints, stains, varnishes, and other finishes using hand tools such as brushes, rollers, spray guns (including airless paint spraying), and power tools. Perform specialized painting tasks including interior painting, restoration work, plastering and caulking. Execute renovation projects involving drywall repairs. Maintain safety standards on-site by following proper procedures for working with scaffolding, and handling hazardous materials. Conduct site inspections to ensure quality control and adherence to project timelines. Experience Proven experience in residential and commercial painting projects with a strong understanding of construction site protocols. Familiarity with blueprint reading and schematics for accurate project execution. Hands-on experience with hand tools, power tools, airless spray equipment, and scaffolding setup. Knowledge of construction estimating processes related to painting and finishing work. Background in related trades such as plastering or restoration is highly desirable. Experience working on construction sites with a focus on safety practices is essential. Basic math skills for measurements and calculations necessary for precise application of materials.
