As a Residential Painter, you will be responsible for preparing surfaces, applying coatings, and ensuring high-quality results that enhance the beauty and longevity of our clients' homes. Responsibilities Prepare interior and exterior surfaces by cleaning, sanding, caulking, and priming to ensure optimal paint adhesion. Apply paint using brushes, rollers, spray guns (including conventional and construction spray painting), and other hand tools with accuracy and efficiency. Use ladders safely to reach high or hard-to-access areas while adhering to all safety regulations and respiratory protection protocols. Interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and surface preparation instructions to execute precise painting projects. Perform structural painting tasks such as stucco, plastering, concrete finishing, and restoration work on various surfaces. Conduct surface inspections using visual color comparison techniques to ensure color consistency and quality standards are met. Assist in renovation projects by installing fixtures, performing drywall repairs, caulking, and minor handyman tasks as needed. Qualifications Proven experience in residential painting with knowledge of construction site procedures and safety regulations. Skilled in using hand tools, power tools, paint sprayers (including industrial options), brushes, rollers, and scaffolding equipment. Familiarity with construction estimating, interpreting technical drawings or blueprints, and surface preparation techniques. Knowledge of color theory to achieve desired aesthetic effects and accurate color matching. Ability to work at heights using ladders safely while maintaining balance and stability. Basic math skills for measurements, surface calculations, and project estimations. Experience with renovation projects including plastering, stucco application, fixture installation, or restoration is a plus.
