Aerotek is Hiring for Painters in the Rochester, NY Area! Job Description We are seeking a skilled Painter to join our team specializing in commercial projects. This role requires expertise in various painting techniques with a focus on quality and attention to detail. Responsibilities Utilize brush and roll techniques to cover all surfaces, including floors, and ensure furniture is moved out of the way. Perform 'cutting in' by painting straight lines at the top of walls without the use of painter's tape. Use rollers on extendable poles to cover large areas of drywall or concrete after completing cuts. Patch drywall and sand any divots for cosmetic purposes to ensure walls are properly prepped. Essential Skills Minimum of 1.4 years experience painting in a commercial setting. Proficiency in brush and roll techniques, including cutting and trim. Consistent work history in finish, paint prep, and roller techniques. Additional Skills & Qualifications Expertise in brush roll and commercial painting. Work Environment The work schedule is Monday through Friday, from 7 AM to 3:30 PM. Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Greece, NY. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $23.00/hr.
