Professional Painter Job Description:
We are a small company that specializes in providing high-end painting services for beautiful homes primarily in Skaneateles, NY. We are looking for an experienced and professional painter to join our team.Responsibilities:
- Prepare surfaces for painting, including scraping, sanding, and priming
- Apply paint, varnish, or other finishes to surfaces using brushes and rollers
- Follow safety guidelines and use protective equipment as required
- Ensure that work areas are clean and tidy at all times
- Maintain painting equipment and tools in good condition
- Communicate and interact with customers respectfully and professionally
- Treat customers' homes with respect and care
Requirements:
- Passing a drug test for any and all illicit or illegal drugs
- Background check for criminal record
- Must have painting references as well as personal references
- Minimum of 5 years of experience as a professional painter
- Must have your own vehicle and a valid driver's license
- Must be cleanly, personable and able to communicate and interact with customers respectfully
- Must have experience with brushing and rolling
- Must have experience in high-end homes
