Job Description
Evans Painting is looking to add one experienced painter to our team. We are a growing professional painting company serving the Youngstown/Warren area. We are looking for someone who takes pride in their work, shows up reliably, works well with a team, and understands that quality painting starts with proper preparation. Position Responsibilities Interior and exterior painting Proper surface preparation, including scraping, sanding, caulking, cleaning, and spot priming Brushing and rolling Masking and protecting customer property Exterior staining and painting Minor drywall and surface repairs Working safely from ladders and at heights Maintaining a clean and organized job site Following project instructions and established company procedures Communicating with the project manager and other team members Completing work thoroughly without cutting corners What We're Looking For Professional painting experience is preferred. We are especially interested in applicants who already have a strong understanding of surface preparation, brushing, rolling, and general residential painting practices. More importantly, we're looking for someone who: Is dependable and shows up ready to work Takes pride in doing things correctly, even when no one is watching Can take direction and work as part of a team Has a positive and professional attitude Pays attention to details Works at a productive pace without sacrificing quality Treats customers, coworkers, and their property with respect Is willing to learn and improve Has reliable transportation to job sites Is comfortable working from ladders and performing exterior work Compensation & Benefits Starting pay: $20+ per hour, depending on experience and ability Full-time employment Health insurance available after 60 days Opportunity for increased pay and responsibility based on performance Consistent work with a growing local painting company About Evans Painting Evans Painting is a locally owned residential and commercial painting company serving the Mahoning Valley and surrounding communities.
