Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Painter to apply coatings and finishes to interior and exterior surfaces. This role involves preparing surfaces, applying paints and protective coatings, and ensuring high-quality finishes for buildings, structures, and equipment. Ideal candidates will have experience in surface preparation, industrial painting, and finishing techniques.

Key Responsibilities:

Apply paint, varnish, stain, enamel, and lacquer coatings to protect and enhance surfaces Paint interior and exterior walls, structures, fixtures, and equipment Read and interpret work orders, blueprints, or supervisor instructions Prepare surfaces by cleaning, sanding, scraping, and removing old paint or coatings Use tools such as brushes, rollers, spray equipment, sandpaper, steel wool, and paint removers Ensure smooth and even finishes while maintaining high-quality standards Follow all safety guidelines and painting best practices Maintain tools and equipment in proper working condition

Required Skills & Qualifications:

High school diploma or equivalent Proven experience as a Painter, Industrial Painter, or Construction Painter (preferred) Knowledge of surface preparation techniques and coating applications Ability to use hand tools, power tools, and spray painting equipment Strong attention to detail and quality workmanship Understanding of workplace safety standards and procedures Location Mansfield, OH 44906

Pay Range:
