Job Description
Busy Metro Tulsa area Commercial Painting Company is needing experience spray, roller and brush commercial painters. Looking for at least 3 years of consistent experience in commercial painting for the Retail, Office, Restaurant, and Commercial buildings. Would like for candidates to have OSHA 10, STB, and hard hat. Current hours are 6am-6pm Mon/Wed/Thurs/Fri/Sat with Tuesdays and Sundays typically off. Hours may shift with the season to 7am-5pm 40-60 hours per week. Background check, pre-employment drug screen required. Driver's license preferred. Reference Job # 131276 Overview We are seeking a skilled Commercial Painters to join our team. The ideal candidates will have a strong background in commercial painting and finishing, with the ability to work on various projects that require precision and attention to detail. This role involves preparing surfaces, applying paint, and ensuring high-quality finishes on both residential and commercial properties. A successful Commercial Painter will possess a blend of technical skills and creativity, contributing to the overall aesthetic and functionality of the spaces we work on. Responsibilities Prepare surfaces for painting by cleaning, sanding, and repairing as necessary. Apply paint using various techniques including airless paint spraying and brush application. Read and interpret blueprints and schematics to understand project requirements. Restore surfaces by plastering and finishing concrete as needed. Collaborate with other tradespeople to ensure project timelines are met. Maintain a clean and organized work environment, adhering to safety standards. Utilize basic math skills for measuring areas and calculating paint quantities. Assist in construction estimating for future projects when required. Requirements Proven experience as a Commercial Painter role for the Retail, Restaurant, Office, Commercial buildings, etc. settings. Familiarity with construction estimating is a plus. Ability to read blueprints and schematics effectively. Experience with plastering and concrete finishing techniques is preferred. Strong attention to detail with a commitment to quality workmanship. Basic math skills for accurate measurements and calculations. A maintenance person background is advantageous for additional repair tasks. Excellent communication skills and ability to work collaboratively within a team.
