Min Hourly Rate $15.05 (Standard); $14.05 (Non-Urban); $16.30 (Portland Metro) Max Hourly Rate $21.50 (Standard); $21.00 (Non-Urban); $22.00 (Portland Metro) Position Summary This recruitment will be used to fill twenty-five (25) part-time (up to a maximum of 40 hours per week during summer) Student Facilities/Maintenance summer positions for University Housing and Dining Services at Oregon State University (OSU). We are seeking 21 students for summer painting and support. This position is 40 hours a week through the summer. During this time, we will be painting resident rooms while they are vacant. Experience in painting is preferred but not necessary. All team members are required to attend job training on June 15, 2026 Transferable Skill Development OSU ismitted to ensuring students are prepared for success after graduation through intentional skill development as student employees. Thepetencies students develop while working at OSU are defined by the National Association of Colleges and Employers (NACE) as the essential skills employers seek in their hires. In this position, students learn and build vital career-readiness skills in the primary areas below: Communication, Teamwork, and Professionalism. Position Duties Moving furniture Minor wall repair Sanding Cleaning Masking ing paint with a brush, rollers, and sprayer.
