What You'll Do As a Painter Helper, you will be responsible for: Assist with preparing surfaces by sanding, patching, caulking, and cleaning. Help protect surrounding areas with drop cloths, masking, and coverings. Load, unload, and transport painting materials, tools, and equipment. Assist painters with interior and exterior residential and commercial painting projects. Clean and maintain tools, equipment, and work areas. Support job site setup and cleanup activities. Follow safety procedures and maintain a safe work environment. Perform general labor tasks as directed by the painting crew. What You'll Bring The ideal candidate for this role will have: A willingness to learn and take direction from experienced painters. Comfort working on ladders and a commitment to workplace safety. A valid driver's license and reliable transportation to access multiple job sites. The physical ability to lift and carry equipment and materials up to 50 pounds. Strong work ethic, reliability, and attention to detail. Good communication skills and a positive, team-oriented attitude.
