All positions are paid, including internships, ensuring you gain valuable experience while earning. We are looking for two Journeyman Painters with their own trucks and some tools. We are also looking for apprentices with a minimum of two years experience. And must have references. Read carefully! Responsibilities Prepare surfaces through cleaning, sanding, caulking, and priming to ensure optimal paint adhesion and finish quality Apply paint, stain, varnish, and other coatings using hand tools such as brushes and rollers, as well as spray equipment including paint sprayers and airless spray systems Interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and surface specifications to accurately execute projects Use ladders and scaffolding safely to access high or hard-to-reach areas on residential and commercial structures Conduct surface preparation for construction painting projects, including drywall finishing, plastering, and concrete finishing Perform structural painting tasks such as stucco application, restoration work, and industrial coating applications Follow all safety regulations by wearing respiratory protection and adhering to safety protocols on construction sites Some carpentry, and Sheetrock hanging experience. Two year's or more, apprentices need to know how to tape and know the differences between tape types and the purposes of them, caulking and know the differences between types of caulking and their uses. Plastic off areas that do not need painting. Keep area clean, stage ladders in a safe way using levelers. Know how to soft wash and pressure wash. Know how to use equipment safely and properly. Requirements Prior experience with construction site work or renovation projects is preferred but not mandatory; training will be provided for motivated candidates Knowledge of construction estimating, blueprint reading, and interpreting technical drawings is a plus Familiarity with hand tools, power tools, paint sprayers (including conventional spraying), and airless paint spraying techniques Ability to perform surface preparation tasks such as sanding, caulking, drywall finishing, and plastering with precision Strong understanding of color theory for achieving desired aesthetic effects in residential and commercial settings Basic math skills for measurements and calculations related to coatings and surface area estimates Ability to work safely at heights using ladders or scaffolding while maintaining proper safety protocol adherence Excellent attention to detail with a focus on quality craftsmanship in all painting tasks Good physical condition with the ability to stand, bend, lift heavy materials, and perform manual labor over extended periods Join us today to build your career in the vibrant world of residential and commercial painting!
