We're a small company that takes pride in doing quality work and treating our customers right. We're looking for someone who shares those values and can take ownership of projects from start to finish. This position is for a working lead painter who is comfortable managing a crew of 2-4 painters while still being hands-on throughout the day. You'll be responsible for maintaining quality standards, keeping projects moving efficiently, and helping train less experienced team members. The ideal candidate has several years of professional painting experience, strong attention to detail, and the ability to lead by example. We're looking for someone who shows up on time, communicates well, takes pride in their work, and wants to be part of building something long-term. If you're an experienced painter who enjoys leading a team, solving problems, and delivering high-quality results, we'd love to hear from you. Responsibilities Lead and supervise a crew of 2-4 painters Coordinate daily job site activities and maintain project schedules Train and mentor newer painters on proper techniques and safety practices Perform surface preparation including scraping, sanding, patching, caulking, masking, and priming Apply paints, stains, and coatings using brushes, rollers, and sprayers Conduct quality checks to ensure work meets company standards Communicate effectively with customers, crew members, and management Maintain a clean, organized, and professional job site Ensure all work is completed safely and efficiently Qualifications 5+ years of professional painting experience preferred Previous experience leading or supervising a painting crew Strong knowledge of interior and exterior painting methods Experience with airless sprayers and various coating systems Ability to read and follow project specifications Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality Reliable transportation and valid driver's license Ability to lift 50 pounds and work on ladders and scaffolding Professional appearance and positive attitude What We Offer Competitive pay based on experience and performance Opportunities for advancement as the company grows Professional and supportive work environment Quality tools, equipment, and materials provided
