In this role, you will be responsible for applying paint, coatings, and finishes to a variety of surfaces, ensuring high-quality results that enhance the aesthetics and durability of residential, commercial, and industrial projects. Duties Prepare surfaces by cleaning, sanding, scraping, caulking, and applying primers to ensure optimal paint adhesion and finish quality Apply paint, stain, varnish, or other coatings using brushes, rollers, spray guns (including airless and conventional spray equipment), and other hand or power tools Interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and surface specifications to accurately execute painting projects according to design requirements Conduct surface repairs such as drywall patching, plastering, stucco application, and concrete finishing as needed for renovation or restoration projects Use ladder safety protocols effectively while working at heights; select appropriate equipment for each task Follow safety regulations by wearing respiratory protection and adhering to all safety protocols during surface preparation and painting processes Perform quality inspections by visually comparing colors and finishes with project standards; make adjustments as necessary for consistency and perfection Qualifications Proven experience in construction painting including residential, commercial, industrial, or restoration projects Proficiency with hand tools (brushes, scrapers), power tools (drills, sanders), paint sprayers (airless and conventional), and scaffolding or ladders for elevated work Knowledge of construction estimating related to paint quantities and surface preparation costs is a plus Ability to interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and surface specifications accurately Familiarity with safety regulations related to construction site work; commitment to maintaining a safe work environment Basic math skills for measuring surfaces and calculating paint coverage; experience with blueprint reading is advantageous Skills in carpentry tasks such as trim carpentry or frame carpentry are beneficial for comprehensive renovation projects Experience with specialized coatings like stucco or industrial paints is desirable but not mandatory Join us as a Painter and bring your craftsmanship to life!
