In this role, you will be responsible for applying paint, stain, and coatings to various surfaces, transforming spaces with precision and artistry. Your expertise will help bring projects to life, whether working on residential homes, commercial buildings, or industrial sites. This position offers an exciting opportunity to showcase your craftsmanship while contributing to high-quality renovation and maintenance projects. An energetic approach combined with attention to detail will ensure success in this vibrant role. Duties Prepare surfaces by cleaning, sanding, plastering, caulking, and repairing imperfections to ensure optimal paint adhesion and finish quality Mix paints and coatings accurately using basic math skills and color theory knowledge to achieve desired hues and finishes Apply paint using a variety of tools including brushes, rollers, airless paint sprayers, power tools, and scaffolding for efficient coverage on walls, ceilings, trim, stucco, masonry, and other surfaces Read blueprints and schematics to determine project scope, specifications, and required materials for construction painting or restoration projects Perform specialized tasks such as drywall finishing, fixture installation, light carpentry or industrial painting as needed Maintain safety standards on construction sites by using appropriate gear and following protocols during tasks involving scaffolding or hazardous materials Experience Proven experience in residential and commercial painting. Hands-on experience with various hand tools, power tools, airless paint spraying equipment, and scaffolding setup Knowledge of construction site procedures including blueprint reading, renovation techniques, plastering, caulking, stucco application, restoration work, and fixture installation Familiarity with industry standards such as industrial painting practices Background in construction site experience with an emphasis on safety protocols and teamwork in fast-paced environments Basic math skills for measuring surfaces and mixing paints accurately; ability to interpret schematics and blueprints effectively Additional handyman experience including carpentry (trim )enhances versatility in this role Join us if you're passionate about transforming spaces through expert painting techniques!
