Job Description

Job Summary We are seeking a skilled Painter to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in various painting techniques and a strong understanding of surface preparation and finishing. This role requires attention to detail, a commitment to quality, and the ability to work independently or as part of a team. The Painter will be responsible for executing painting projects in both residential and commercial settings, ensuring high standards of workmanship. Responsibilities Prepare surfaces for painting by cleaning, sanding, and filling holes or cracks. Apply paint, stain, varnish, or other finishes using brushes, rollers, or spray equipment. Perform drywall repairs and plastering as needed to ensure smooth surfaces. Maintain tools and equipment in good working condition; ensure cleanliness of work areas. Follow safety protocols to minimize risks associated with painting tasks. Majority of work is commercial with a lot of prevailing wage. Spraying and cut-and-roll. Experience with spraying would be optimal. Qualifications Proven experience in commercial painting and residential projects is preferred. Basic math skills for measuring areas and calculating paint quantities are essential. Strong attention to detail with a commitment to delivering high-quality work. Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team environment. Previous experience in maintenance person or construction roles is advantageous but not mandatory. Must possess good communication skills to interact effectively with clients and team members.
