In this energetic role, you will be responsible for applying paint, coatings, and finishes to a variety of surfaces across residential, commercial, and industrial projects. Your attention to detail and mastery of painting techniques will ensure high-quality results that meet safety standards and client expectations. This position offers an exciting opportunity to develop your skills in renovation, restoration, and construction painting while working on diverse projects that challenge and inspire you every day. Duties Prepare surfaces by cleaning, sanding, plastering, caulking, and priming to ensure optimal paint adhesion and finish quality Apply paint, stains, varnishes, and specialty coatings using hand tools such as brushes, rollers, spray guns (including airless paint spraying), and power tools Read blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to accurately determine project scope and specifications Perform drywall finishing, trim carpentry, framing, masonry work, stucco application, and fixture installation as needed for comprehensive project execution Conduct surface repairs including patching holes or cracks and restoring surfaces during renovation or restoration projects Operate construction equipment safely while adhering to all safety protocols on-site Collaborate with team members to meet project deadlines while maintaining high standards of quality and safety Skills Extensive experience in residential painting, commercial painting, industrial painting, and construction site work Strong knowledge of construction estimating processes for materials and labor planning Proficiency in reading blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings for precise project execution Skilled in using hand tools such as caulking guns, putty knives, trowels, screwdrivers, as well as power tools including drills and sanders Familiarity with color theory to achieve desired aesthetic effects and color matching accuracy Hands-on experience with plastering, stucco application, masonry finishing, concrete finishing, framing carpentry, trim carpentry, restoration work, and fixture installation Ability to perform basic math calculations for measurements and material estimations Knowledge of safety procedures related to construction painting environments including welding safety when applicable Experience with maintenance tasks related to renovation projects or general handyman work Join us if you're passionate about transforming spaces through expert craftsmanship!
