This is an opportunity for individuals looking for short-term employment, to utilize their painting skills or show a willingness to learn, and contribute to various residential and commercial projects in State College, PA.

Responsibilities Surface Preparation:

Clean, sand, and scrape surfaces (walls, trim, ceilings, doors, etc.) to ensure a smooth and even finish. Remove old paint, wallpaper, and other materials as needed. Protect surrounding areas and non-painted surfaces (flooring, furniture, fixtures) with drop cloths and masking tape.

Paint Application:

Apply paint using proper equipment (brush, rollers, etc.) Ensure even coats and clean lines, paying close attention to detail and quality.

Equipment Maintenance & Site Cleanup:

Clean and properly store all painting tools and equipment at the end of each workday. Maintain a clean and organized work area, disposing of waste materials responsibly. Adhere to all safety guidelines and procedures on the job site. Qualifications Experience as a painter preferred, demonstrating knowledge in surface preparation and paint application techniques.
