No Position Purpose Under minimal supervision or working independently, the Painter II completes quality painting projects requiring attention to appearance, function and durability. Works as a lead member of a crew assigned to small scale and/or routine projects, works independently, or with peers. Prepares surfaces for new coating materials, mixing coating materials according to specifications, applies coating materials to a variety of surfaces where appearance as well as surface protection are important, and is responsible for the care and maintenance of the tools and equipment employed in the painter's trade. The Painter II is an intermediate level position with skill and proficiency in the execution of painting duties. Description Required Qualifications

• Education and Yrs Exp High School plus 3+ years' experience or equivalent combination of education and experience Required Qualifications
• Skills, Knowledge and Abilities Minimum three
• to five years of commercial/institutional painting experience.
