Job Description

Job Summary We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Painter to join our dynamic construction and renovation team. In this role, you will be responsible for applying paint, coatings, and finishes to a variety of surfaces across residential, commercial, and industrial projects. Your expertise will help transform spaces, enhance aesthetics, and ensure quality craftsmanship on every project. Duties Prepare surfaces by cleaning, sanding, scraping, and patching to ensure optimal paint adhesion Apply primers, paints, stains, varnishes, and other finishes using hand tools and power tools such as brushes, rollers, airless sprayers, and spray guns Read blueprints, schematics, and schematics to accurately determine project scope and specifications Perform specialized painting tasks including residential painting, commercial painting, industrial painting, and restoration projects Utilize construction estimating skills to determine material needs and project timelines Execute surface preparation techniques like plastering, caulking, stucco application, and masonry work for seamless finishes Install fixtures, trim carpentry elements, and perform renovation work that complements the painting process Operate hand tools such as putty knives, scrapers, trowels, and saws with precision Conduct maintenance tasks on equipment including power tools and airless paint sprayers to ensure safety and efficiency Collaborate with carpenters, masons, and other tradespeople on construction sites to coordinate project activities Follow safety protocols diligently while working at heights or on scaffolding in various environments Experience Proven experience in construction painting across residential, commercial, or industrial settings Familiarity with blueprint reading and schematics for accurate project execution Hands-on experience with hand tools, power tools, airless paint spraying equipment, welding equipment (a plus), and other relevant tools Knowledge of color theory to select appropriate finishes for different surfaces and environments Background in construction estimating, renovation projects, plastering, caulking, stucco application, restoration work or related trades preferred Ability to perform basic math calculations for measurements and material estimations Construction site experience with an understanding of safety standards and protocols is essential Skills in carpentry (trim carpentry or frame carpentry), masonry or concrete finishing are advantageous Handyman experience or general maintenance skills are beneficial for versatile project support Join our team if you're passionate about transforming spaces with precision craftsmanship!
