Job Description
Lead Painter/Foreman Carroll Custom Coatings - Myrtle Beach, SC Full-Time | $25-$30/hr (based on experience) Carroll Custom Coatings is a fast-growing, family-owned painting and coatings company serving Myrtle Beach, Carolina Forest, and surrounding areas. We specialize in cabinet refinishing, and interior/exterior painting. As our team continues to grow, we are looking for an experienced Lead Painter/Foreman who can take charge of projects, deliver high-quality work, and help us provide an exceptional customer experience. Responsibilities Lead a crew on residential and commercial painting projects Perform all aspects of prep work: sanding, masking, caulking, patching, priming Interior & exterior painting using brush, roll, airless, and HVLP sprayers Manage the jobsite: cleanliness, safety, productivity, and quality control Communicate professionally with homeowners, contractors, and team members Train helpers and delegate tasks effectively Track materials and help keep projects on schedule Ensure all work meets Carroll Custom Coatings' quality standards Qualifications 3+ years of professional painting experience (lead experience preferred) Strong skills in cutting-in, rolling, spraying, and surface prep Valid driver's license & reliable transportation Ability to lift 50+ lbs and work indoors/outdoors Strong leadership, problem solving, and time-management skills Professional appearance and positive attitude Ability to coach and develop less experienced team members What We Offer $25-$30/hr depending on experience Overtime opportunities Consistent year-round work Family-owned company with a supportive team culture Room to grow as we expand the business All major tools and equipment provided
