Our services extend beyond gutter protection installation - we also offer a number of home services, including apartment and post-construction cleanouts in new home communities that require painting. G Home is Home Services Evolved. The General Services Technician / Painter will perform a variety of hands-on interior and property maintenance services for commercial accounts, primarily apartment complexes. This role will involve full interior paints of 1-, 2-, and 3-bedroom apartments and a variety of other maintenance tasks, such as filter changes and other duties. The ideal candidate enjoys physical indoor work, pays close attention to detail, and takes pride in leaving every job site better than they found it.
Key Responsibilities:
Perform full painting of 1-, 2-, and 3-bedtoom, including baseboards and other trim. Paint Prep each unit in detail prior to beginning painting, including protecting indoor sprinkler system light switches and fixtures.. Conduct thorough inspection of final paint to ensure all areas requiring touch up are completed. Remove all paint prep materials and leave the unit clean of any debris or paint over spray. Safely operate and maintain company vehicles, trailers, pressure washers, ladders, blowers, vacuums, sealant applicators, gutter tools, and other equipment. Load/unload tools and materials daily; ensure job sites are left clean and organized. Follow all safety protocols, including proper PPE usage, ladder safety, chemical handling, and traffic/equipment precautions. Communicate professionally with customers on-site, explain services performed, and address any questions or concerns. Complete job documentation, photos, and reports as required. Assist with other general maintenance tasks as needed and collaborate with team members on larger projects.
Qualifications:
Valid driver's license with clean driving record (company vehicle provided). A minimum of 5 years of interior commercial and/or residential painting experience, Experience with various paint sprayers and other related tools and equipment. Physically fit and able to perform demanding outdoor work: lift 50-75 lbs regularly, climb ladders, work at heights, stand/walk for extended periods, and work in various weather conditions. Comfortable working at heights \and in confined spaces (dryer vents). Basic knowledge of hand/power tools and equipment maintenance. Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship. Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently or as part of a small crew. Positive attitude with good customer service skills.
Work Environment:
Work is performed on active or recently completed construction sites. May involve exposure to dust, noise, and varying weather conditions. Requires standing, bending, and lifting for extended periods.
