Painter Position:

Prepare surfaces by scraping, sanding, removing old coatings, patching, and caulking Protect surrounding areas with drop cloths, masking, and coverings Apply primers, paints, stains, and coatings using brushes, rollers, and spray equipment Mix and match paint colors to meet specifications Clean, maintain, and store tools, equipment, ladders, and scaffolding Follow OSHA and company safety protocols including PPE and proper ventilation Assess job sites, measure surfaces, and estimate materials and labor time Follow all company policies and safety procedures Completes any other related tasks as needed Qualifications and Desired Skills for

Painter Position:

High school diploma or equivalent 3-5+ years of professional or journey-level painting experience in residential or commercial settings OSHA 10 or OSHA 30 certification Strong knowledge of paint types including latex, oil, and epoxies with various application methods Ability to stand for extended periods, lift up to 50 lbs, climb ladders, work on scaffolding, and perform repetitive tasks Strong attention to detail with ability to identify and correct surface imperfections and produce clean finishes Clear communication skills and professional demeanor when working with clients and project managers Valid driver's license with clean driving record when operating company vehicles Experience in drywall finishing, wallpaper installation, or decorative texturing preferred Ability to stand during duration of shift Ability to lift up to 50lbs Ability to stoop, bend, squat, kneel, twist and reach If you have the experience and skills we're looking for, apply to Utility Staffing today!
