Position SummaryHighest-level painter, able to set up and run any order, troubleshoots problems, and repairs paint related equipment. Responsible for training Painter 1 and Painter 2.Incumbentis able toeffectively train, coordinate and communicate with all departments.

Key Position ResultsØCross trained in 100% of every part of the paint processØCan perform initial paint tech dutiesØMaintains FPY >90%ØComplete full training of all new paintersØCan perform touch - up dutiesKey Duties & ResponsibilitiesØUnderstands that the utilization of fresh air hoodsmust be used at all timeswhen painting in a booth or inside of our paint kitchen areas.ØMust demonstrate and maintain standard work guidelines while meeting established cycle times.ØMust understand and perform the paint flush process.ØMust participate in preventative maintenance activities.ØMust participate in daily housekeeping and 6s projects to maintain an orderly work area.ØMustinsureproper lighting and airflow parameters are met prior to painting product.ØMust understand E-Stat application and when not to use.ØResponsible for training and all other painters and communicating with them dailyØFull understanding of paint kitchens and set up.ØCan paint in any booth and setup for any color as needed.ØRebuild and/or repair painting equipment on an entry level basis.ØPerforms mill checks as needed toinsureproper application is met.ØOther duties as assignedCritical Skills, Knowledge and AbilitiesØMust possess working knowledge of paint booth.ØHave ability to change over color modules for paint booths.ØPossess troubleshooting skillsØMust be able to read and understand bill of material.ØComplete understanding of coating process and the technology with it.ØGood communication skills and must be able to answer all technical questions about the process.ØExcellent organization skillsØStrong Leadership abilityØAbility to effectively train, coordinate and communicate with all departmentsEducation / Training RequiredØInternal training per standard operating procedures and training sheet (Standard Work Instructions)ØForklift licenseØ1-3years experienceas entry level painterCrenlo's total compensation - or total rewards - extends beyond your paycheck and is designed to support and enrich your personal and professional life, including:
