The ideal candidate will have a strong background in commercial painting projects and be capable of working independently while maintaining high-quality workmanship and safety standards. Essential Duties Prepare surfaces for painting by cleaning, sanding, patching, and priming Apply paints, coatings, and finishes to commercial building interiors and exteriors Protect adjacent surfaces and maintain a clean work area Operate and maintain painting tools and equipment Follow project schedules and complete work efficiently Comply with all site safety requirements and company policies Coordinate with project supervision and other trades as required Required Qualifications 5-10 years of commercial painting experience Proficient in surface preparation, patching, sanding, priming, and finish painting Experience with brushes, rollers, and spray application equipment Ability to read and interpret project specifications and scope requirements Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship Ability to work safely in an active construction environment Reliable transportation and dependable attendance Physical Requirements Ability to stand, walk, bend, kneel, and climb for extended periods Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds Ability to work from ladders, scaffolds, and elevated work platforms as needed Additional Information This position is contingent upon project staffing needs and contract resolution related to a previous subcontractor.
