We have several projects coming up in the Amarillo area. Our aim is to serve our customers, community, contractors and all stakeholders with the highest level of honesty, integrity, and professionalism. We have an immediate opening for Commercial Painting Crews to sub-contract on our projects. Prior painting experience with commercial projects is a must, specifically painting storage facilities. We need motivated and talented individuals, who not only show up on-time but also take pride in their work.
Job Duties & Responsibilities:
Works with the Project Manager to understand the scope of the project. Arrives on time to the job site and prepared to execute on-site job requirements. Review scope of work, products, buildings and applications which may differ on each job; the candidate must be able to determine the best work method to effectively carry out the job in terms of safety, functionality and performance working within the guidelines of the manufacturer's installation instructions and job time limit. Cleans up job site after each job is completed. Pulls inventory as needed from paint supply company or hardware to complete jobs. Maintains a vehicle and all tools and equipment to carry out the job scope on basic painting and remodeling projects. Prepares various surfaces for painting by washing, scraping, burning, sanding, sandblasting or other means as necessary. Mixes, matches, and blends various paints, enamels, lacquers, varnishes, stains and special protective coatings to achieve desired color, consistency, and drying properties. Caulks, putties, cements or plasters holes and cracks. Paints using brush, roller, spray gun or another applicator. Determines and clearly identifies proper materials and material quantities for new and existing projects. Open and close the jobs out on Company proprietary software. Follow all company and client QHSE policies and procedures, including using proper PPE and following equipment operational guidlines.
Key Qualifications and Skills:
General Knowledge & Skills Previous painting experience, Residential and/or Commercial projects, is required for this role. Knowledge of the principles, techniques, equipment and supplies used in the residential/commercial painting. Must be able to communicate effectively with all members of the project team and the customer as required. Send reports on a daily basis using company standard format and including pictures.
Computers / Mobile
Technology You will be expected to use our company's systems and software as a part of your duties to open and close every job, which includes dispatching to the job site, updating the scope of work if any changes from what was estimated and entering these into the app, closing the job with the customer and taking photos of every job. Self-Motivated Stay focused and get the job done without direct supervision. You will be a part of the Company's growth and brand, so will have constant opportunities to learn, grow, network and complete your assigned projects effectively and efficiently without supervision.
Additional Must Haves:
Must have current Valid Driver's License and Automobile Insurance. Commercial and General Liability Insurance. Must have a Smart Phone (Android or Apple) with access to the internet. Crew must have their own vehicle equipped with all basic equipment for standard painting jobs.
Salary & Position:
Salary will be based on the job size and scope but will be paid weekly after completion of the job and sign off by the customer on the software system.

This Position Frequently Requires:
Standing, lifting & carrying up to 50+ lbs, walking, pushing, climbing ladders, bending, crouching, crawling, reaching, and full use of hands. May include working in small spaces, on ladders, and outside where you might be exposed to sun, humidity, high heat, rain and other inclement weather.
