Job Description

Overview We are seeking a skilled Painter to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong attention to detail and a passion for delivering high-quality finishes on various surfaces. This role involves working on both residential and commercial projects, where you will be responsible for preparing surfaces, applying paint, and ensuring that all work meets our high standards of quality. Responsibilities Prepare surfaces for painting by cleaning, sanding, and applying primer as needed. Read and interpret blueprints to determine the scope of work required for each project. Execute painting tasks using various techniques including airless paint spraying and traditional brush methods. Apply finishes to walls, ceilings, and other structures while ensuring even coverage and consistency. Perform concrete finishing and remodeling tasks as required by specific projects. Install fixtures and trim carpentry elements to enhance the overall aesthetic of completed work. Maintain a clean and organized workspace, adhering to safety protocols at all times. Collaborate with team members to ensure timely project completion while meeting quality standards. Skills Proficiency in blueprint reading to accurately assess project requirements. Experience in concrete finishing and remodeling techniques is highly desirable. Strong skills in trim carpentry and fixture installation to complement painting tasks. Familiarity with commercial painting practices is a plus. Basic math skills for measuring areas and calculating paint quantities accurately. Ability to perform maintenance person tasks as needed during projects. Attention to detail and commitment to delivering high-quality workmanship in all aspects of the job.
