In this role, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality painting services at a healthcare facility. Your expertise will help transform spaces through precise surface preparation, expert application of paints and coatings, and meticulous attention to detail. Responsibilities Prepare surfaces thoroughly by cleaning, sanding, caulking, and applying primer to ensure optimal paint adhesion. Execute painting tasks using various techniques including brush painting, roller painting, spray painting, and coating applications. Use hand tools, power tools, ladders, scaffolding, and other equipment safely to reach high or difficult areas while maintaining strict adherence to safety regulations. Conduct surface preparation for construction spray painting and industrial painting projects to ensure long-lasting results. Maintain a clean work environment by properly handling waste materials and ensuring all safety protocols—including respiratory protection—are followed at all times. Requirements Proven experience in construction or renovation painting with a strong understanding of surface preparation techniques. Knowledge of color theory for accurate color matching and visual color comparison skills. Skilled in using hand tools, power tools, paint sprayers (including airless), brushes, rollers, and other relevant equipment. Familiarity with safety regulations related to construction site work and industrial environments; commitment to safety protocol adherence. Experience with residential, commercial, or industrial painting projects is highly desirable. Basic math skills for measuring surfaces and calculating paint quantities accurately. Additional skills such as plastering, caulking, trim carpentry, fixture installation, masonry work, framing carpentry, handyman tasks, or airless spray application are a plus.
