Key Responsibilities:

Preparation of Surfaces:

Prepare surfaces for painting by cleaning, scraping, sanding, and priming as necessary to ensure proper adhesion and finish.

Painting and Finishing:

Apply paint, varnish, and other finishes to a variety of surfaces, including walls, ceilings, and furniture, using brushes, rollers, and spray equipment.

Color Matching:

Mix and match paint colors to ensure consistency with existing color schemes and provide recommendations based on aesthetic preferences.

Maintenance and Repairs:

Perform minor repairs to damaged surfaces before painting, and help with general maintenance tasks around the facility as needed, contributing to overall upkeep and improvements.

Safety Compliance:

Follow all safety protocols and guidelines, including the proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE) and the safe handling of chemicals and solvents.

Inventory Management:

Monitor inventory levels of paints, primers, and supplies; order materials as needed to ensure consistent workflow.

Collaboration:

Work closely with the Facilities Manager and other team members to complete projects on time and within budget, providing input on timelines and project scopes.
