Job Title:
Commercial Painter As a Commercial Painter, you will perform essential painting services in hospitals and healthcare facilities. Your work will enhance the appearance of buildings, increase surface durability, and ensure safety by providing easy-to-clean surfaces that are resistant to disinfectants. Responsibilities Prepare surfaces by cleaning, sanding, and filling cracks and holes. Apply paints, varnishes, and sealants using brushes or rollers. Protect surfaces by covering exposed objects and areas with tarps and masking tape. Repair and prepare drywall, including mudding and spackling. Paint the rooms and corridors on each floor. Essential Skills At least 2-3 years of experience in commercial painting. Proficiency in painting techniques, including the use of spray guns and rollers. Ability to perform sheetrock repair and mud/spackle work. Effective communication skills in English. Additional Skills & Qualifications Experience in construction is advantageous. Customer service orientation is essential. Surface prep (sanding, patching, drywall repair) Brush, roller, and spray application Commercial painting & coatings Lift/scaffold operation OSHA safety & PPE compliance Attention to detail & quality finishing Ability to work in a fast-paced construction environment Why Work Here? You'll operate in a clean and well-maintained environment, focusing on delivering high-quality painting services while interacting with healthcare staff and maintaining customer service standards. Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Fort Worth, TX. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $28.00/hr.
