The ideal candidate will have a strong background in various painting techniques and the ability to work on both residential and commercial projects. This role involves preparing surfaces, applying paint, and ensuring high-quality finishes. The Painter will also collaborate with other tradespeople on construction sites, contributing to the overall success of remodeling and restoration projects. Responsibilities Prepare surfaces for painting by cleaning, sanding, and patching as necessary. Apply paint, varnish, or other finishes using brushes, rollers, or spray equipment. Restore and remodel existing structures by applying appropriate painting techniques. Collaborate with carpenters and other tradespeople to ensure seamless project execution. Perform fixture installation as needed to enhance the aesthetic appeal of spaces. Utilize hand tools effectively for various tasks related to painting and finishing. Maintain a clean and organized work area on the construction site. Follow safety protocols to ensure a safe working environment at all times. Experience Proven experience as a Painter in residential or commercial settings is preferred. Familiarity with construction estimating and project timelines is a plus. Experience in frame carpentry and concrete finishing is advantageous. Strong attention to detail and commitment to delivering high-quality work.
