Painter Helper Job Summary We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Painter Helper to assist with various painting projects on construction sites. The ideal candidate will support the painting team by preparing surfaces, handling painting equipment, and ensuring safety protocols are followed. Responsibilities Assist with surface preparation for painting, including cleaning, sanding, and priming surfaces to ensure optimal paint adhesion. Support the application of paint using spray equipment, including paint sprayers, under supervision. Use ladders safely to reach high or hard-to-access areas during painting and surface preparation tasks. Operate power tools required for surface preparation and minor repairs, ensuring proper handling and safety procedures are followed. Help maintain a clean and organized work environment by clearing debris and properly storing tools and materials. Follow all safety guidelines and protocols to ensure a safe working environment for yourself and team members. Collaborate effectively with the painting team to complete projects efficiently and to high standards. Qualifications Basic knowledge of construction or painting processes is preferred but not required; willingness to learn is essential. Ability to use ladders safely and comfortably at various heights. Familiarity with power tools used in surface preparation is advantageous. Strong work ethic, reliability, and attention to detail. Ability to follow instructions carefully and work as part of a team. Physical stamina and ability to perform manual labor in different weather conditions. Prior experience in painting or construction is a plus but not mandatory; training will be provided for the right candidate.
