Job Description

Overview Join our dynamic team as a Residential Painter and bring vibrant transformations to homes through expert craftsmanship and attention to detail! In this energetic role, you will be responsible for preparing surfaces, applying paint and finishes, and ensuring each project meets high standards of quality and durability. Your skills will help homeowners realize their renovation visions, creating inviting and beautiful living spaces. This position offers the opportunity to work on a variety of residential projects, from interior touch-ups to full exterior makeovers, all while honing your skills in construction painting and restoration. Duties Prepare surfaces for painting by scraping, sanding, patching holes, caulking, and cleaning walls, ceilings, siding, and trim Apply paints, stains, and coatings to interior and exterior surfaces using brushes, rollers, and spray equipment Protect surrounding areas by covering floors, furniture, landscaping, and fixtures with drop cloths and masking materials Mix and match paints to achieve desired colors and finishes Repair minor surface imperfections such as cracks, dents, and drywall damage prior to painting Inspect surfaces and completed work to ensure quality standards are met and finishes are smooth and even Operate and maintain painting tools, ladders, scaffolding, and spray equipment safely Follow safety procedures, including proper handling of chemicals, use of personal protective equipment (PPE), and ladder safety Communicate with homeowners or supervisors regarding project timelines, color selections, and progress updates Maintain a clean and organized work area before, during, and after project completion Estimate materials and time required for projects when needed Work efficiently to meet deadlines while maintaining high-quality workmanship Adapt to various weather conditions for exterior projects and adjust workflow accordingly Working on ladders, roofs, scaffolding. Requirements Proven experience in residential painting with knowledge of Interior and exterior painting. Skilled in using hand tools, power tools, airless paint spraying equipment, and scaffolding. Experience with construction site procedures. Ability to perform basic math calculations for measurements and material estimates.
Working during business hours:
M-F; 8 am-5 pm and may be later depending on needs. Communication is Key.
