Master Painter Location:
Vienna, VA (Onsite)Pay Rate:
Open to Both C2C and W2 optionsPosition Type:
Contract Typically 10+ years of painting experience with proven expertise in commercial and institutional painting work. Minimum Qualifications- High school diploma or GED.
- 10+ years of commercial, industrial, or institutional painting experience.
- Extensive knowledge of surface preparation, coatings, primers, stains, and finishes.
- Experience with drywall repair, patching, caulking, and wall preparation.
- Ability to operate lifts, scaffolding, and other painting equipment safely.
- Knowledge of OSHA safety requirements and industry best practices.
- Ability to read drawings, specifications, and work orders. Preferred Qualifications
- Experience supervising or mentoring other painters.
- Experience with specialty coatings, epoxy systems, and decorative finishes.
- Strong knowledge of color matching and finish application techniques.
- Ability to estimate materials, labor, and project durations.
- Excellent customer service and communication skills. Key Responsibilities
- Perform advanced interior and exterior painting.
- Prepare surfaces to ensure high-quality finishes.
- Inspect completed work to ensure quality standards are met.
- Train and guide junior painters.
- Coordinate material requirements and project schedules.
- Maintain compliance with safety regulations.
