Overview:

We are seeking a SKILLED and reliable Painter/Laborer to join our team. As a Painter/Laborer, you will be responsible for performing a variety of painting and labor tasks to ensure the successful completion of projects. This is a full-time position with competitive pay and opportunities for growth based on experience. Our base is Rutland, Vermont. However we travel all over Vermont and New York for projects using company vehicles.

Duties:

• Prepare surfaces for painting by cleaning, sanding, and repairing any imperfections
• Apply paint, stain, varnish, or other finishes to surfaces using brushes, rollers, or spray equipment
• Follow safety guidelines and wear protective gear while working
• Assist with general labor tasks such as moving materials, setting up equipment, and cleaning work areas
• Collaborate with team members to ensure projects are completed on time and to client satisfaction
• Maintain tools and equipment in good working condition
• Adhere to company policies and procedures

Requirements:

• Previous experience as a Painter/Laborer or similar role is "preferred"
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions accurately
