Responsibilities Prepare surfaces meticulously by cleaning, sanding, plastering, caulking, and applying primer to ensure optimal paint adhesion. Apply high-quality paints, stains, varnishes, and specialty coatings using hand tools and power tools such as airless sprayers for efficient coverage. Execute both interior and exterior painting projects on residential homes, commercial buildings, and renovation sites with precision and attention to detail. Perform surface repairs including drywall patching, plastering, stucco application, masonry work, and trim carpentry to prepare for painting. Maintain a safe work environment by following all safety protocols on construction sites and handling equipment like scaffolding, scaffolds, hand tools, and welding equipment responsibly. Requirements Proven experience in residential painting, commercial painting, construction painting or renovation projects with a strong portfolio of completed work. Proficiency in using hand tools such as brushes, rollers, scrapers, caulking guns, as well as power tools including airless sprayers and grinders. Skills in plastering, stucco application, masonry work, drywall repair, fixture installation, and restoration techniques are highly desirable. Experience working on construction sites with adherence to safety standards; ability to handle scaffolding or working at heights is preferred. Basic math skills for measurements and calculations; carpentry skills such as trim carpentry or frame carpentry are advantageous. Handyman experience or industrial painting background is a plus for versatile project execution.
