Painter

Commercial Tenant Improvement Contractor Seeks Painter team members with related experience. Must have minimum 3 years commercial painting experience to be considered. Job is Monday through Thursday with some overtime available on Fridays. Weekend and holidays off. Work is mainly interior of buildings . Scope of work for painters includes prepping and painting interior walls and ceilings in office and retail suites. Application of paint is done by hand with occasional spraying applications. Painters' responsibilities include floor prep, sheetrock patching and repair, prepping wall for painting t-bar ceiling touch up paint, putting wood trim, painting of doors and frames, light demolition and light carpentry work if needed. Applicants must be dependable and drug-free with valid drivers license and their own reliable transportation. Those considered for hire will need their own hand tools and safety gear including safety glass, work gloves, proper attire, etc. Work schedule is 10 hour shifts at night and weekends if needed. Reporting to the Project Manager, you will utilize your core skills in construction painting and proficiency with hand tools. Your premium knowledge of color theory will enhance your ability to select the perfect palettes for each job. Additionally, your relevant skills in blueprint reading and renovation will support your work on various construction sites.
