Job Description

Job Overview We are seeking a skilled Painter to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in various painting techniques and experience in both residential and commercial projects. This role requires attention to detail, a good understanding of color theory, and the ability to work efficiently in diverse environments. The Painter will be responsible for preparing surfaces, applying paint, and ensuring high-quality finishes on all projects. We are looking to keep a skilled laborer that can grow with the company and retain this position for the long term, this position is for serious inquiries only if you are not planning on showing up do not apply. Responsibilities Prepare surfaces for painting by cleaning, sanding, and patching as needed. Apply paint, varnishes, and other finishes using brushes, rollers, or spray equipment. Perform masking, taping, caulking, and other surface preparation tasks as necessary. Conduct restoration work on existing structures to maintain aesthetic appeal. Collaborate with construction teams on renovation projects while adhering to safety standards. Utilize hand tools and power tools effectively for various tasks including fixture installation and trim carpentry. Maintain a clean and organized work environment throughout the duration of each project. Experience Proven experience in residential and commercial painting is essential. Familiarity with construction estimating and basic math skills for project assessments. Experience with plastering, stucco application, and concrete finishing is advantageous. Knowledge of industrial painting techniques is a plus. Previous construction site experience is preferred along with maintenance person skills for minor repairs or adjustments during projects.
