Job Description

Job Description Gates Painting Co., LLC is seeking an Exterior Painter specializing in pavement markings to join our growing team. We provide full-time, year-round employment with opportunities for overtime, cross-training, advancement, and professional growth. The primary focus of this position is exterior painting and pavement marking work, including preparation, application, cleanup, and finishing activities. This position will also assist the crew with general labor and project tasks as needed.
Responsibilities include:
Preparing surfaces for paint and pavement marking coatings Cleaning surfaces prior to coating application Masking and protecting adjacent surfaces Operating pavement marking equipment, including line stripers Applying stall lines, traffic markings, symbols, and other pavement markings Identifying and correcting surface or layout discrepancies prior to coating application Maintaining clean and organized work areas Assisting other crew members with project-related tasks as needed Qualifications Minimum 1 year of traffic striping, pavement marking, painting, or relevant trade experience preferred, but not required Valid driver's license required Experience operating pavement marking or line striping equipment preferred Strong attention to detail Ability to work efficiently as part of a team Ability to work independently with minimal supervision Ability to follow instructions and work effectively under a supervisor Reliable and able to work scheduled evening and overnight hours Willingness to travel to other Puget Sound project locations as needed
Schedule Swing Shift:
Monday-Thursday, 3:00 PM-1:45 AM Full-time Approximately 10-hour shifts Primary work location: Redmond, WA Potential work at other project locations throughout the Puget Sound region Overtime opportunities are available Additional shifts may be required at times to meet project schedules and deadlines Compensation $23.00-$26.00 per hour , based on experience and qualifications.
