This role involves supporting experienced painters in preparing and applying paint to various surfaces, ensuring high-quality results. The ideal candidate will be comfortable working at heights, on roofs, and in various environments, with a focus on safety and attention to detail. This is an excellent opportunity for individuals interested in gaining hands-on experience in the painting industry and developing their skills. Duties Assist with ladder use to reach high or hard-to-access areas safely. Support the painting team by preparing surfaces through taping off windows, trim, and other areas requiring protection. Apply paint using rollers and brushes on walls, ceilings, trim, and other surfaces. Help with brush painting for detailed or intricate areas that require precision. Use rollers for larger surface areas to ensure even coverage. Be comfortable working on roofs when necessary for exterior painting projects. Maintain a clean work environment by properly disposing of debris and cleaning tools after use. Follow safety protocols at all times to prevent accidents or injuries during work activities. Qualifications Ability to work at heights, including on ladders and roofs. Experience or willingness to learn roller and brush painting techniques.
