Job Description

Job Summary We are looking for a dependable and experienced individual to join our commercial crew. We are primary looking for individuals with painting experience. However those with drywall experience, and willing to be cross-trained into painting are highly encouraged to apply. Majority of work will be within an hour of Menomonie, Wisconsin - with 90% being commercial projects. Responsibilities Prepare surfaces by cleaning, sanding, scraping, and applying primers to ensure optimal paint adhesion. Apply paints, stains, varnishes, and other finishes using brushes, rollers, airless spray equipment. Perform surface repairs such as plastering, caulking, and patching to create smooth finishes before painting. Maintain safety standards on construction sites by using proper equipment and following protocols for working at heights or with hazardous materials. Skills Proficiency in residential and commercial painting techniques Skilled in the use of hand tools such as scrapers, brushes, rollers, caulking guns, as well as power tools including airless sprayers. Strong understanding of construction site safety practices along with experience working on renovation or restoration projects. Knowledge of related trades such as carpentry (trim and frame), masonry (stucco), plastering, concrete finishing, and fixture installation enhances versatility. Qualifications Drivers License is Required High School Education or Equivalent is Preferred 1+ Years of Painting or Drywall Taping Experience is
Strongly Preferred Pay:
$20.00 - $25.00 per hour
