Our projects take place in some of the finest homes on Milwaukee's North Shore, often while homeowners are living in them. That means our work has to be flawless, and so does the way we conduct ourselves in their homes. About the Role We are looking for a skilled interior painter who takes real pride in finish quality and understands what working in a luxury home requires. You will handle interior painting on active remodeling projects, often working on your own and coordinating with project managers, trade partners, and homeowners. The right person produces high-end results efficiently, keeps a clean and organized jobsite, and represents LaBonte Construction professionally every day. What You Will Do Prepare surfaces to a high standard, including patching, sanding, caulking, priming, and masking, with the understanding that preparation determines the finish Paint walls, ceilings, trim, doors, and millwork with clean lines and consistent, highquality results Protect finished floors, cabinetry, fixtures, and furnishings throughout the job using proper coverings and containment Keep work areas clean and orderly at the end of every day, especially in occupied homes Plan and manage your own daily workflow to keep projects on schedule without close supervision Communicate clearly and courteously with homeowners, designers, and other trades about progress, access, and schedule Coordinate sequencing with other trades so painting fits cleanly into the overall project timeline Identify and report surface defects, drywall issues, or other conditions that could affect the final finish before painting begins Complete touchups and punchlist items so every room is ready for final walkthrough What We Are Looking For Minimum of 5 years of professional interior painting experience, with work in highend or luxury residential homes Excellent technical skills, with a sharp eye for detail and a portfolio or references that demonstrate finish quality Ability to work independently, manage your own time, and stay productive without direct oversight Efficient work habits that deliver toptier results without wasted time or material A professional, presentable appearance and demeanor appropriate for working in clients' homes Strong customer service skills and comfort interacting directly with homeowners Your own basic painting tools Reliable transportation and a valid driver's license for travel between North Shore job sites Ability to lift up to 50 lbs., work on ladders and scaffolding, and stand, kneel, and bend for extended periods Nice to Have Experience with spray application, cabinet refinishing, or specialty finishes EPA LeadSafe (RRP) certification, which is relevant to many older North Shore homes Experience working alongside architects and interior designers on highend projects What We Offer $22 to $30 per hour, based on experience Health insurance, with 90% of the premium paid by the company Life insurance Paid vacation Paid holidays Fulltime, yearround work on highquality residential projects A team that respects the trades and holds a high standard
