Job Description
Job Summary We are excited to welcome energetic and friendly individuals to join us at Apple Holler as Fall Weekend Face Painters! This fun and lively role involves creating colorful, imaginative face designs that delight guests of all ages during our seasonal weekend events. As a face painter, you'll be the highlight of the day, bringing smiles and adding a splash of creativity to our outdoor festivities. The ideal candidate is enthusiastic, customer-focused, and comfortable working with children and large crowds in an outdoor setting. Duties Provide high-quality face painting services, creating fun and safe designs for guests of all ages. Engage with guests in a friendly manner, explaining designs and ensuring a positive experience. Manage your painting station efficiently, maintaining cleanliness and organization throughout your shift. Follow all safety protocols, including proper hygiene practices and use of safe materials. Assist with event setup and breakdown, including manual handling of supplies and equipment. Support guest services by answering questions and helping guests feel welcome during busy event hours. Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth event operations and guest satisfaction. Requirements Experience working with children or in a hospitality or entertainment environment is preferred. Strong customer service skills with an approachable, friendly demeanor. Ability to perform manual handling tasks, including heavy lifting of supplies and equipment. Knowledge of safety protocols, including basic first aid and CPR certification is a plus. Previous experience in events management or outdoor work environments is advantageous. Familiarity with POS systems, cash handling, or retail sales experience is helpful but not required. Excellent communication skills, including public speaking or theater experience, to engage guests effectively.
