Job Description

Job Summary I am looking for at least two people for the next 6 weeks to a month to work for my painting business. No qualifiaction requried I will teach everything on site. Must not be afraid of height and be able to be on a ladder at 28ft or be able to climb on steep roofs. Will give pay bonuses and other bonuses like a dinner or round of golf for completing project ahead of schedule. Looking to have a fun, hard working enviornment. Must be 18 years or older. Able to start/tryout the day of or after applied. Must have own car and reliable transportation. Have all equipment needed. Responsibilities Prepare exterior surfaces by cleaning, sanding, scraping, caulking, and applying primers to ensure optimal paint adhesion. Use hand tools, power tools, paint sprayers (including airless spray), brushes, and rollers to apply coatings with precision and efficiency. Interpret technical drawings, schematics, blueprints, and color schemes to execute projects accurately according to specifications. Perform structural painting tasks such as stucco, masonry, plastering, and concrete finishing on various building exteriors. Ensure safety regulations are followed at all times by wearing respiratory protection and adhering to safety protocols during all phases of work. Conduct surface preparation for industrial or commercial painting projects, including surface repairs and restoration work. Utilize construction estimating skills for project planning and material procurement while maintaining quality standards throughout each project. Qualifications (None Needed) Proven experience in residential and commercial exterior painting with knowledge of construction site procedures. Skilled in the use of ladders, scaffolding, and other access equipment for high or hard-to-reach areas. Familiarity with construction estimating, blueprint reading, schematics interpretation, and technical drawings. Knowledge of coating types, surface preparation techniques, and application methods such as conventional spraying and brush/roller painting. Ability to operate power tools safely while following strict safety regulations; experience with airless paint spraying is a plus. Basic math skills for measurements and calculations related to project scope. Strong understanding of safety protocols including respiratory protection and proper handling of hazardous materials.
