In this vital role, you will be responsible for installing, repairing, and maintaining piping systems across various projects, ensuring compliance with safety standards and industry codes. Your expertise will help keep our operations running smoothly and safely, contributing to the successful completion of complex piping installations in diverse environments. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work with cutting-edge techniques and a dedicated team committed to excellence. Duties Read and interpret detailed blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to accurately assemble piping systems. Measure, cut, thread, and assemble pipes using hand tools, power tools, pipe threading machines, and welding equipment. Perform MIG welding, FCAW (Flux-Cored Arc Welding), TIG welding, and other welding techniques in accordance with ASME codes & standards. Fit fire sprinkler systems, HVAC piping, pipeline assemblies, plumbing networks, and tube bending projects with precision. Use calipers, schematics, and basic math skills to ensure accurate measurements and proper alignment of pipe components. Rigging and lifting heavy pipe sections safely into position on construction sites or manufacturing facilities. Soldering and pipe joining using various methods to create leak-proof connections while adhering to safety protocols. Maintain detailed records of work performed, inspections conducted, and materials used for quality assurance. Collaborate with team members on maintenance tasks or troubleshooting mechanical issues within piping systems. Follow all safety guidelines related to welding, construction site work, and handling hazardous materials. Qualifications Proven experience as a Pipefitter in construction sites or manufacturing environments. Proficiency in MIG welding, FCAW, TIG welding, soldering, and other welding processes aligned with industry standards. Strong knowledge of blueprint reading, schematics interpretation, and mechanical principles. Skilled in the use of hand tools, power tools, calipers, pipe threading machines, and rigging equipment. Familiarity with ASME codes & standards related to piping systems and welding practices. Ability to work at heights or in confined spaces while maintaining safety protocols. Basic math skills for measurements and calculations essential for precise pipe fitting. Knowledge of HVAC systems, fire sprinkler fitting, pipeline assembly, plumbing techniques, and tube bending is highly desirable. Construction site experience demonstrating adaptability in dynamic environments is preferred.
