We're looking for a hands-on Industrial Brazing Technician who thrives in a production environment and can confidently handle large-diameter piping and high-temperature brazing . What You'll Do Perform torch brazing on 1"-4" piping systems using oxy-acetylene and oxy-propane Join copper, steel, and brass components for HVAC, chiller, and gas systems Execute brazing in all positions (horizontal, uphill, downhill) Control temperatures from 1,100°F-1,650°F (600°C-900°C) for precision joints Use silver-based and copper-phosphorus fillers for high-quality results Perform nitrogen purging to prevent oxidation and ensure internal cleanliness Read blueprints and schematics to assemble complex systems accurately Inspect, test, and verify joints for strength, flow, and zero leaks Conduct repairs and rework to meet quality standards Follow strict safety protocols, including hot work permits and PPE What You Bring Experience as a Brazer, Pipefitter, or TIG Welder in an industrial setting Strong skills with torch brazing on copper and steel piping Ability to handle large pipe (1"-4") and complex joints Solid understanding of heat control, joint prep, and filler selection Confidence working in all brazing positions Ability to read technical drawings and schematics Familiarity with industrial piping codes and testing methods Comfortable in a fast-paced manufacturing environment with overtime Bonus if you have: Trade school or brazing/welding certification HVAC, chiller, or industrial assembly experience Physical Requirements Lift up to 45 lbs Stand, bend, climb, and move throughout shift Strong manual dexterity and coordination Why You'll Love It Here Competitive pay with bonus opportunities Full benefits: medical, dental, vision, and 401(k) Paid time off and employee assistance programs Modern, climate-controlled manufacturing facility Advanced Industry 4.0 technology Career growth and internal advancement opportunities Safety-focused, team-oriented culture
