Respirator Full Job Description Description:
Tradesmen International is immediately hiring experienced Marine Pipefitters for projects located in the Alameda, CA area . This is a first shift opportunity, and the pay rate is $36/hour based on experience and skill level. If you are a Marine Pipefitter and want to work alongside other proven craftsmen who emphasize safety, productivity, and superior craftsmanship, this is your chance to advance your career!
Job Scope:
Repair, modification, and fabrication of onboard ship piping systems including fuel, cooling, lube oil, gray and black water, fire main, potable water, exhaust, hydraulic, and compressed air systems Read and interpret blueprints and specifications Identify pipe sizes and materials Install and remove pipe supports Create field layouts Silver brazing pipe Threading and tube/pipe bending, Hydrostatic and pneumatic low-pressure testing Create inspection reports Use power tools such as grinders, bandsaws, drills, impacts, etc
Requirements:
Marine pipefitting experince or 2+ yeats of recent and consistent industrial pipe work experience Pass a drug screen Must have OSHA 10 maritime and firewatch certifications Must have respirator certification Basic hand tools
