Journeyman Plumber - Pipefitter Peak Mechanical Construction Sacramento, CA Job Details Full-time $30 - $45 an hour 19 hours ago Benefits Health insurance 401(k) Qualifications Equipment repair Team development Problem-solving Commercial construction Fixture installation Time management Full Job Description Commercial Plumbing & Mechanical contractor in search of Journeyman Plumber wanted for installing, repairing and maintaining pipes, fixtures and other plumbing used for water distribution and wastewater disposal in heavy commercial, industrial, and hospital buildings.
Requirements:
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in heavy commercial
  • Must have a Journeyman Certification in Plumbing from a recognized and accredited postsecondary institution or demonstrate equivalent skill level.
  • Must be honest and trustworthy, respectful, flexible, and demonstrate sound work ethics.
Skills:
  • Review building plans and specs to determine the layout for plumbing a related material
  • Identify required tools and special equipment
  • Select the type and size of pipe required and locate and mark positions for connections and fixtures
  • Install supports and hangers for pipe, fixtures and equipment
  • Assemble and install valves and fittings
  • Install, repair and maintain water treatment equipment, piping and controls
  • Install, repair and maintain underground storm sanitary and water piping systems
  • Install, repair and maintain sinks, tubs and toilets
  • Install, repair and maintain plumbing fixtures, appliances and trim
  • Test pipe systems and fixtures for leaks
  • Perform scheduled maintenance service on plumbing systems and fixtures
  • Ensure all requirements as specified by the manufacturer are met
  • Ensure all installations, repairs and maintenance are properly sized, aligned, supported and graded
  • Ensure all installations, repairs and maintenance meet the requirements of the appropriate codes
  • Must be able to work cooperatively with other trades Ideal candidate will possess the following:

Pay:
$30.00 - $45.00 per hour
