This energetic position offers the opportunity to work on diverse projects, including septic system installation, underground utility trenching, and sewer line setup. Duties Operate heavy machinery such as excavators, skid steers, and front loader trucks to excavate trenches and prepare sites for septic and utility system installation Read and interpret construction plans, blueprints, and technical drawings to accurately follow project specifications Install sanitary drainage systems, sewer lines, water supply systems, stormwater systems, and underground utilities with precision Use pipe lasers and other tools to ensure proper pipe alignment and grade during installation Follow all safety regulations including federal construction safety standards to maintain a secure work environment Requirements Proven experience operating heavy equipment such as dozers, loaders, backhoes, excavators, and front loader trucks in construction settings Knowledge of wastewater systems, sanitary sewers, stormwater management systems, and underground utility installation processes Ability to read blueprints and technical drawings accurately; interpreting construction plans is essential Skilled in pipe installation techniques using pipe lasers and other precision tools Familiarity with safety protocols related to heavy equipment operation and construction site safety regulations Experience with concrete forming, finishing, welding, and utility trenching preferred but not mandatory Strong understanding of federal construction safety regulations and adherence to safety protocol standards Join us in building reliable infrastructure that serves communities!
